EZConn Bi-Directional Optical Sub-Assemblies (BOSAs) are the RoHS compliant, which are designed for bi-directional FTTx, OLT and ONU applications. The device consists of two main sub-units; a LD for transmitting 1.25/2.5 Gbps signal and a photo-diode (APD-TIA/PIN-TIA/Super TIA) for the receiving digital/analog downstream signals. These BOSAs operate under the industrial temperature range and also meets the requirement specified in ITU-T G984.5 standard.
